Embark on a one-day cycling adventure through the serene South-Eastern part of Chiang Mai, starting daily at 9:00 AM from our office.
Our route takes you along quiet country roads and through charming small villages where farmers tend to the rice fields while their spouses craft intricate terracotta creations.
As we pedal through the rice fields, we’ll make a brief stop at a local farmhouse to witness village women preparing traditional Thai delicacies such as rice crackers, banana chips, and soya bean paste. Naturally, you’ll have the chance to sample these delicious treats.
Our journey continues to Baan Tawai Woodcarving village, renowned for its exquisite wood-carved art and furniture. Here, you’ll have a leisurely coffee break and some time to explore the myriad shops brimming with stunning woodcrafts.
Next, we’ll visit a bustling local market where you can taste a variety of fresh fruits and snacks. Following the picturesque Ping River, we traverse country roads discovering more locally made products. Ever wondered about the contents of the bamboo sold along the roadside? Here, you’ll find out and learn about the diverse variations.
In this region, most farmers cultivate an array of vegetables, including lettuce and cabbage. After another delightful ride, we arrive at Wiang Kum Kam, the ancient city where we stop at the 700-year-old Wat Chedi Liem. Here, you’ll see a beautiful fusion of Lopburi and Burmese architectural styles.
Throughout the Chiang Mai Paradise bicycle tour, we’ll take breaks every hour to rest and hydrate. The stops and points of interest may vary depending on seasonal activities. This excursion is suitable for anyone in good health who can ride a bicycle.
