Day 1: Arrival in Lima
Your driver-guide will pick you up at Lima International Airport according to your arrival time and take you directly to your hotel. During the transfer, you will review the itinerary together, and you can ask any questions you may have about your tour. Then, depending on your arrival time, you will enjoy some free time for a first discovery of Lima (for example, you can stroll through the famous Kennedy Park, located in the center of the Miraflores district).
Overnight in Lima.
Day 2: From Lima to Supe (3 hours by road)
Your driver-guide will pick you up at your hotel in the early morning to start your adventure in northern Peru. On the way, you will visit the oldest citadel in the Americas, with more than 3,000 years of history, together with a local archaeologist, and then continue on to your hotel.
Overnight in Supe.

Day 3: Caral to Chavín (6 hours by road with stops)
You will leave the coast to reach the highlands; this day is dedicated entirely to driving, allowing you to discover the different Peruvian landscapes.
We recommend that you prepare a picnic lunch on your own; your driver can stop at lunchtime.
Overnight in Chavín.

Day 4: Chavín to Huascarán Mountain Lodge (5 hours by road with stops)
Your day will begin with a visit to the Temple of Chavín de Huántar, then you will drive towards the mountain lodge. This will allow you to discover wonderful landscapes before reaching the snowy mountain scenery of Huascarán National Park. We recommend that you prepare a picnic lunch on your own; your driver can stop at lunchtime.
Overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Huascarán Mountain Lodge
Today you will explore the surroundings on a short walk and enjoy the landscapes of Huascarán National Park, one of the most beautiful scenic parks in Peru. You will have a picnic by a dry lake and, with a bit of luck, you will be able to hear the snowy mountain “speaking” (the sound of cracking ice).

Day 6: Huascarán to Huanchaco (8 hours by road with stops) – from the mountains to the coast
Today you return to the coast via an incredible road known as Cañón del Pato, considered one of the most dangerous roads in the world. You will arrive in the Trujillo region at the end of the day and, with a bit of luck, before sunset to enjoy a beautiful sea view.

Overnight in Huanchaco.

Day 7: Trujillo (40 minutes by road)
Today is a free day, and your driver-guide is at your disposal to take you to explore Trujillo and its beautiful pyramids. In the morning, you may visit the site of Chan Chan and the Huaca del Sol and Huaca de la Luna, and according to your preferences, you can relax on Huanchaco beach.

Day 8: Huanchaco – Cajamarca (6 hours by road with stops)
You will get back on the road to discover the city of Cajamarca, considered the “Cusco of the North”. Along the way, you will see a variety of landscapes, each more stunning than the last. We recommend that you prepare a picnic lunch on your own; your driver can stop at lunchtime.
Overnight in Cajamarca.

Day 9: Cajamarca
The morning will be devoted to visiting the city of Cajamarca with your driver-guide (including the Windows of Otuzco, for example). Depending on the option chosen, you can also visit the Inca baths. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore Cajamarca on your own, this wonderful colonial city.
Overnight in Cajamarca.

Day 10: Cajamarca to Leymebamba (8 hours by road with stops)
You will head towards Leymebamba, crossing to the other side of the Andes and passing the area where the rivers meet the Amazon. We recommend that you prepare a picnic lunch on your own; your driver can stop at lunchtime.
Overnight at a lodge in Leymebamba.

Day 11: Leymebamba to Cocachimba (4 hours by road)
Today you will drive to Cocachimba, the village where one of the highest waterfalls in Peru is located: Gocta. This famous waterfall has appeared in films such as Transformers and Paddington. Depending on the option chosen, your guide will take you on a hike to the waterfall, if time and weather conditions allow.

Day 12: Cocachimba to Nuevo Tingo (4 hours by road)
Today you will head to the village of Nuevo Tingo, known for being at the foot of the archaeological site of Kuelap, which you will visit the following day. On the way, your guide will stop to visit the archaeological site of Karajía.
Overnight in Nuevo Tingo.

Day 13: Kuelap
Today you will take a cable car up to Kuelap, a site often considered the Machu Picchu of the north; however, this fortress was built earlier by the civilization known as the Chachapoyas.
Overnight in Nuevo Tingo (or Amazonas).

Day 14: Nuevo Tingo (or Amazonas) to Tarapoto (8 hours by road with stops)
You will finally discover the Peruvian jungle, crossing different altitude levels from the “high jungle” to the “low jungle” and tropical rainforest. The journey is long, but it is well worth it thanks to the variety of landscapes along the road. We recommend that you prepare a picnic lunch on your own; your driver can stop at lunchtime.
Overnight in Tarapoto.

Day 15: Tarapoto
Today is a free day, and your driver-guide is at your disposal to help you explore the surroundings of Tarapoto. For example, you can swim at Ahuashiyacu Waterfall or visit the Castillo de Lamas. You will have a free afternoon to visit the city of Tarapoto or relax by the pool.
Overnight in Tarapoto.

Day 16: Tarapoto or from. Tarapoto to Yanishpa (1 hour by road)
Free day in TARAPOTO or You will head to Yanishpa, a unique lodge in the north, where you can enjoy an impressive view over the city of Tarapoto. In this hotel complex, you will have the opportunity to explore the jungle and learn more about it and its legends.
Overnight in Tarapoto or Yanishpa.

Day 17: Flight Tarapoto – Lima and visit of Lima
According to the departure time of your flight to Lima, your driver-guide will take you to Tarapoto Airport. Once in Lima, another driver will welcome you and take you to your hotel. You will then have free time to stroll through the bohemian district of Barranco, if you wish, where you will find many restaurants, bars and beautiful villas with a very special atmosphere.

Day 18: Lima Airport
Today, your private guide will take you to Lima International Airport for your flight. Beforehand, you will have some free time, marking the end of your Peruvian adventure.
