Activity details Your tour starts at Camp Děčín, where you will receive a canoe or kayak, paddles, and a dry bag, followed by a short on-site briefing. This pleasant 15 km paddle takes you into neighboring Germany in about 3 to 3.5 hours. During the trip, you will experience the stunning Bohemian Switzerland National Park from the water, paddling through the deepest sandstone canyon in Europe. The tour ends on the right riverbank in the picturesque village of Schmilka, directly at the ferry station, where you can visit a local microbrewery or café with breathtaking views. Bike option After reaching the handover point at the ferry on the right bank, we will collect the boat and provide bicycles. You will then cross by ferry to the left bank to access the Elbe Cycle Route. Please remember to bring €2 in cash per person (including the bike). If you wish to visit the nearby spa town of Bad Schandau, you can also use the cycle path on the right bank. Bicycles must be returned by 18:30 at the Camp Děčín reception. A late return fee of 500 CZK applies. Option to return by train After arriving at the handover point at the ferry on the right bank, we will collect the boat and all equipment. To return by train, take the ferry in Schmilka to the opposite bank, where the Schmilka-Hirschmühle train station is located. Please remember to bring €1.50 in cash per person for the ferry. After handing over the equipment and our detailed map, you will individually visit the unique natural monuments of Mount Sněník and Tisa Rocks. Then it's time to head back to Děčín, the lowest Czech town (elevation 130 m). The total tour length is 14 km, lasting 2–3 hours. However, you can keep the scooter throughout our daily opening hours and extend the trip according to your wishes. This is an extremely easy tour suitable even for families with children aged 8+ and individuals with no regular training.
