Everest Base Camp Trek · Lukla
The Mardi Himal Trek is a peaceful and scenic journey in the Annapurna region, perfect for hikers seeking a less crowded alternative to the classic routes. Beginning on the outskirts of Pokhara, the path winds through thick rhododendron forests, narrow ridges, and quaint villages, steadily ascending in elevation while providing stunning vistas of mountains all along the way.
As you ascend further up the trek, the landscapes shift dramatically—from lush greenery at lower elevations to expansive alpine meadows that offer breathtaking panoramic views of peaks like Machapuchare (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Gangapurna. Much of the trekking route runs alongside ridgelines, ensuring uninterrupted mountainous panoramas even during non-strenuous hiking segments. Comfortable accommodations are available at well-maintained tea houses scattered across your entire journey.
Although this hike may be shorter than others, the Mardi Himal offers an authentic high-altitude Himalayan experience. With its serene trails, spectacular vantage points, and deep immersion in nature, it’s equally suited for first-time travelers and seasoned adventurers alike. This trip seamlessly blends awe-inspiring mountain sceneries, enriching cultural interactions, and unspoiled wilderness into one unforgettable expedition.
