We highly recommend that you take part in either a morning safari (for birdwatching and spotting elephants and other wildlife), or an evening safari (when around 150 elephants gather; Sri Lanka’s national bird - Jungle Fowl can be seen along with deer, many types of birds, crocodiles, lizards and more). You could do this at Minneriya National Park, Kaudulla National Park or Hurulu Eco Park
