Sighnaghi, the "City of Love," is located in the Kakheti region of Georgia and has been settled since the Paleolithic period. Its romantic atmosphere, cozy restaurants, beautiful landscapes and seclusion make it ideal for honeymoons, family picnics or a relaxing holiday away from hectic cities. Recently, Sighnaghi underwent a major reconstruction program and has become an important tourism center in Georgia.
The Monastery of St. Nino at Bodbe is a Georgian Orthodox monastic complex, located 2 km from Sighnaghi and serves as the seat of the Bishops of Bodbe.
Winery Khareba features a unique wine cellar carved inside the Caucasus mountains in Kvareli, Alazani Valley, stretching 7.7 km. Guests can taste over 40 kinds of wine, bake their own bread, participate in the Chacha making process and prepare traditional Churchkhela.
