First, select a Kanji character from the Kanji menu. Next, write your chosen Kanji character onto a t-shirt using an erasable marker pen. You may well get it wrong initially - that's okay! Once you feel confident then use permanent black ink and brushes to repaint over what you wrote earlier. It might seem daunting at first but will become easier as you go along. After completing your design let it air dry for around half an hour before taking it away; some visitors even put their new creation straight on immediately after making them and love walking round Tokyo sporting their unique Japanese inspired fashion statement. Our youngest visitor by age has been a four year old German speaking child accompanied by his dad. This activity makes for great shared enjoyment between friends or family members alike. Although our standard offering includes private sessions we also offer mixed group options where possible (usually limited to six people max). For larger groups please enquire further details – if numbers exceed eight participants we recommend booking one of several alternative venues within close proximity to Senso-ji Temple which comfortably accommodates parties of fifteen individuals. Located just outside Tokyo Skytree tower complex approximately three minutes’ stroll eastwards from either Oshiage station served by both Hanzo-mon Line & Toeii Asakusa subway lines respectively being nearest stations available here. Total duration approx. One full hour per person including preparation/completion times.
