Nile Cruise 5**** - ITINERARIES: 04 Nights/05 Days - Luxor/Aswan Day 1: Saturday On arrival in Luxor, you will be met by a Select Egypt representative and transferred to the Nile Cruise for check-in prior to boarding before lunch. Afterwards, you will be escorted for a marvelous tour visiting the east bank of the Nile in Luxor including visits to the Karnak and Luxor Temples. This is followed by a captain’s welcome cocktail party and dinner onboard. The evening concludes with a folklore show and an overnight stay in Luxor. Day 2: Sunday After breakfast, you will be taken across the river to the west bank of the Nile in Luxor where we explore the Valley of the Kings, Hatchepsut Temple at el Deir el Bahri and the colossal statues known as the Memnon Colossi. Return to the ship for lunch; enjoy some refreshments during our journey towards Edfu passing through the Esna lock. Enjoy dinner aboard after which there will be dancing and live music until late hours when everyone retires to their cabins for the night in Edfu. Day 3: Monday Start off early morning with breakfast served onboard the Nile Cruise. Then meet up with your expert Egyptologist guide who takes us to see the magnificent Horus Temple located in Edfu. Following this excursion return back to the boat for lunch that can also be enjoyed whilst cruising onwards to Kom Ombo. Here disembark briefly to admire the unique twin sanctuary dedicated to gods Sobek (the crocodile god) and Haroeris (god of the horizon). Continue onward voyage downriver toward Aswan finishing day three with dining ashore along with high tea & galabeya parties ending another exciting chapter of travel under the stars near Lake Nasser – all set against backdrop of ancient Egyptian history! Overnight accommodation provided within hotel rooms or similar accommodations close to port area. Day 4: Tuesday Begin new days adventure having first meal of the day together enjoying buffet style spread available onsite. Afterward proceed directly onto one of Africa's most impressive landmarks built solely out stone without use nails—The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam situated just outside city limits but easily accessible due proximity.
