Bike Tour

A bike tour, also known as bicycle touring, is a journey made by bicycle, often for leisure, adventure, or exploration, rather than purely for sport or commuting. It typically involves traveling longer distances than a typical bike ride and can range from a single day to multi-month expeditions. Bike tours can be self-supported, meaning riders carry all their gear, or supported by tour operators or organizations.

Kilimanjaro Trekking via Lemosho in 8 Days

Lemosho route is one of the best routes for acclimatization. The route is less used and a beautiful way up to the Shira Plateau. The route is one of the few where groups may be accompanied on the first day by an armed ranger, as the forests around the Lemosho Glades are inhabited by buffalo, elephant and other wildlife. 8 days Lemosho has one of the highest success rates. The additional days give your body more time to acclimatize, reducing the effects of altitude sickness and giving you more time to rest before attempting the summit.

Kilimanjaro Trekking via Lemosho in 7 Days

Lemosho route is one of the best routes for acclimatization. The route is less used and a beautiful way up to the Shira Plateau. The route is one of the few where groups may be accompanied on the first day by an armed ranger, as the forests around the Lemosho Glades are inhabited by buffalo, elephant and other wildlife. The minimum duration for the Lemosho route is 6 days, however we strongly recommend hiking the route in 7 days. The additional 7th day will give your body more time to acclimatize, reducing the effects of altitude sickness and give you more time to rest before attempting the summit.

Kilimanjaro Trekking via Machame in 7 days

Nicknamed the “Whiskey” route because the route is popularized as somewhat difficult and more expensive than Marangu route. When comparing all trails that lead to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, this is among the finest options available; considering factors such as altitude adjustment (acclimatization) and costs involved. Machame Route has been recognized by many hikers as being quite challenging so it's most suitable for experienced adventurers who have previously engaged in trekking or camping trips. This path offers breathtaking landscapes throughout your journey which vary greatly along the way. Unfortunately, since it becomes increasingly well known amongst tourists visiting Tanzania each year, you will encounter larger groups on this particular hike thus losing part of its original charm. This specific climbing itinerary takes mountaineers towards Uhuru Peak via the southwestern side then they descend back down utilizing the Mweka Trail offering them spectacular vistas over vast expanses including the impressive Shira plateau, optionally scrambling upwards at Lava tower, ascending onto the steep great barranco Wall followed by traversing beneath Mt Kilimangiaro's Southern Ice Field. There may be parts where this track proves tougher compared to other paths like marangu & rongai requiring greater physical effort however when looking at things holistically - walking uphill while sleeping lower altitudes makes this option relatively easy going despite these challenges. It provides excellent conditions needed for adjusting yourself to higher elevations plus plenty of chances to ascend during daytime only to retreat downhill overnight hence making 'sleep low/walk high' very feasible here. A strenuous yet exhilarating adventure taking place across five distinct climate regions within Africa! It also presents ample time between setting off early morning until reaching peak point allowing individuals sufficient rest prior attempting final ascent if desired – splitting their efforts accordingly should they choose not attempt conquering mountaintop immediately after starting out instead opting perhaps spend additional night(s) camped nearby enjoying surroundings further still... And finally let me remind everyone once again how incredibly busy this famous pathway tends to get especially around times leading directly toward season peaks meaning booking ahead essential regardless whether traveling solo independently organized group tours either way ensuring availability preferred dates beforehand absolutely crucial factor success expedition endeavors ultimately resulting successful completion mission objectives set forth initially embarking upon undertaking challenge scaling tallest freestanding mountain world wide situated heart East African continent sharing borders several countries namely Kenya Tanzania Uganda Rwanda Burundi Democratic Republic Congo Ethiopia Somalia Djibouti Eritrea Sudan South Sudan Central African Republic Gabon Equatorial Guinea São Tomé and Príncipe Angola Zambia Malawi Mozambique Madagascar Comoros Mayotte Réunion Mauritius Seychelles Côte d'Ivoire Liberia Sierra Leone Guinea Bissau Cape Verde Saint Helena Ascension Island Tristan da Cunha British Indian Ocean Territory Socotra Diego Garcia Aldabra Atoll Europa Island Glorioso Islands Bassas da India Juan de Nova Island Tromelin Island

Kilimanjaro Trekking via Marangu in 6 days

Marangu route, also known as Coca Cola Route, is the cheapest way up Kilimanjaro's highest point. It is the only one that offers comfort like camping shelters on each campsite equipped with solar lighting and comfy mattresses. These cabins accommodate many people; bunkbeds come complete with foam pillows and sponges under them. There are sixty berths at both Mandara and Kibo Campsites while there are 120 spaces at Horombo Campsite. Water closets and flowing tap water exist within these three campsites below Uhuru Peak. At the final campground you will find separate toilets for men and women although they may not meet your expectations regarding luxury level. All climbers who typically hail from various nations worldwide dine together inside their respective camps creating an upbeat environment filled with laughter and camaraderie. You could climb this path over five days if time constraints apply however six days would allow more ample rest periods between ascents thus allowing proper adjustment to altitude changes - use those additional hours wisely by either relaxing further down at Horombo Shelter or attempting another ascent towards Mount Meru's smaller sibling named Mawenzi!

Kilimanjaro Trekking via Rongai in 7 days

The Rongai Route is one of the easiest routes and the success rate is very high. The route starts on the north side of the mountain just south of the Kenyan border, and is one of the least traveled routes. The descent is down the Marangu Route on the south side of the mountain, so climbers see the mountain from many viewpoints. The drive to the trailhead takes about 3 hours from Moshi through many villages and coffee plantations, including a stop to register climbing permits at Marangu. The Rongai Route can also be accessed from Amboseli National Park in Kenya. Allow 2 hours including border crossing. We will need copies of passports ahead of time.

Kilimanjaro Trekking via Northern Circuit in 9 days

The Northern Circuit is the newest route up Kilimanjaro and also the longest. Due to its length, the Northern Circuit boasts the highest summit success rate. It mirrors the Lemosho Route's path during the initial two days but diverges thereafter circling round the more tranquil north face towards the eastern aspect of the peak. This circuit ascends through Gillman's point prior to descenting down a similar trail used by both the Marchae and Lemosho routes.

Kilimanjaro Trekking via Umbwe in 6 days

The Umbwe Route is steeper and shorter than the Machame Route. Once at the Barranco Hut you continue on with the other Machame hikers. The descent is down the Mweka trail. Since it is a very short and direct route, it is not recommended for people with little altitude experience.

Day Trip to Chemka and Kikuletwa Hot Springs

The Chemka Hot Springs (Kikeletwa) are located approximately 40 kilometres outside of Moshi, within the small settlement known as Chemka. These hot springs have naturally occurring mineral rich waters flowing through them creating an inviting pool perfect for cooling off on a sweltering Tanzanian afternoon or simply relaxing at leisure. This natural wonder boasts crystal clear turquoise blue waters forming a large tranquil lake surrounded by tall palm trees providing ample shade throughout the day. It's quite shallow near the edges however if you venture out far enough there will be areas where its depth reaches around ten metres below the surface - yet due to how incredibly transparent these volcanic fed pools tend to be one could easily mistake this body of water for glass! There are also plenty of opportunities along the shoreline to set up tents should visitors wish to spend more than just a few hours here enjoying their picnic lunches before drying themselves off post swim session beneath those same protective palms lining each side of what truly feels like paradise found right amidst Africa’s vast savannah plains...
