Ngorongoro Crater Day Tour

The Crater is the planet’s biggest intact volcanic caldera hosting diverse wildlife including the elusive black rhino. Upon reaching the Ngorongoro Gate, situated about 170 miles (275 km) out of Moshi, guests descent down into the Crater floor on foot or by vehicle for a six-hour guided safari experience. Kikuletwa Hot Springs

Kikuletwa hot spring is among the best natural water springs found in the Kilimanjaro region. There isn't much to explore—just be prepared to spend your day swimming in the Kikuletwa natural hot water spring. The pool can get quite deep at times, reaching depths of up to 32 feet (10 metres) in certain areas; however, the clarity of the water allows one to easily view all the way down to the bottom. This makes these hot springs an excellent spot to relax weary muscles after making the arduous climb up Mount Kilimanjaro. It truly feels like being on top of the world during this visit which would make for a wonderful excursion away from home base, with its inviting azure pools encouraging visitors to take their time soaking, splashing around, or exploring further afield before returning back rejuvenated, revived, and feeling completely calm once more. Plus, should anyone find themselves reluctant to depart immediately afterwards then perhaps they could consider arranging either a barbecue lunch here later on...

Materuni Waterfall & Coffee Tour

Materuni is one of the few villages of wonder in Northern Tanzania sitting at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. This very impressive Waterfall is one of the tallest in the area, spewing crystal clear glacier water 70m into its basin. The beautiful path leading to Materuni Waterfall is located 2500m above sea level It crosses valleys and hills covered by tropical rainforest, past coffee, banana and avocado “shambas”, the Kiswahili word for farms. On a clear day great views of Kibo and Moshi town can be seen. The hike to the base of the Waterfall can be demanding and hiking boots are recommended. The passage is attributed to an unknown typesetter in the 15th century who is thought to have scrambled parts of Cicero's De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum for use in a type specimen book.

8 Days Kilimanjaro Climb Lemosho Route

The Lemosho route is considered Kilimanjaro's most scenic trail. The route includes some steep passages. During the ascent, you often have excellent views of Mt. Meru, west of Kilimanjaro, and Kenya. You use different ways for ascent and descent. At the campsites along the way, you camp in tents. Each campsite has direct radio communication with National Park Management. This trek tends to attract fewer climbers than other routes. For the initial two days, hikers traverse through rainforests en route to Shira ridge. With its pleasant terrain that remains relatively level throughout much of the journey, the Lemosho Path stretches over the entirety of the Shira plateau from West to East. It stays uncrowded up till where paths close by Lava tower merge onto those used by trekkers taking the Machame route; then continues onwards using what is referred to as 'Southern circuit', which lies beneath Mount Kilimanjaro's southern ice field prior to ascending towards Uhuru peak starting at Camp "Barafu". For descending back down mountainside after reaching summit point - they utilize the well established Mweka Trail instead. Please book your trip today! 7 Days Kilimanjaro Climb Rongai Route

7 Days Rongai Route Kilimanjaro Itinerary. The Rongai Route is the only route that approaches Kilimanjaro from the north, near the Kenyan border. Rongai's ascent profile is very similar to that of Marangu. It is one of Kilimanjaro's easier routes. The climb to the top is gradual and steady. However, unlike Marangu, this route has low crowds and passes through remote wilderness areas. It is probably the only route where seeing wildlife in the first few days is possible.

7 Days Kilimanjaro Climb Lemosho Route

The Lemosho route is one of our preferred routes due to its low traffic, beautiful scenery and a high summit success rate. The Lemosho route starts off from the west, beginning with a long drive from Moshi to Lemosho Gate. From there, the first two days are spent trekking through the lush rainforest to Shira Plateau. We recommend a minimum of 7 days to attempt this route but 8 days is preferable for better acclimatization and summit success. The Lemosho route joins the Machame route just after Shira 2 Camp and then follows the same route through the southern circuit and descending at Mweka Gate.

6 Days Kilimanjaro Climb Marangu Route

Marangu route which is also known as the Coca Cola route is the least expensive route to the summit. This is also the only route with the comforts of sleeping huts at every camp site with solar lights and comfortable beds. The huts are communal, and the bunks have a sponge mattress and pillow. There are 60 beds at both Mandara and Kibo Huts and 120 beds at Horombo Hut. Bathrooms and running water are available at the two lower huts. Men's and women's latrines are available at the last camp but are very basic. All climbing groups, often from several countries around the world, share meals in dining huts providing a jovial and energetic atmosphere. This route is usually done in 5 days (shortest route to the summit) but can be done in 6 days for better acclimatization. The extra day can be spent resting at Horombo or climbing the small peak of Mawenzi.

6 Days Kilimanjaro Climb Machame Route

For those who wish to climb Kilimanjaro, the Machame route is the best choice because of its acclimatization profile. The Machame route exposes the climber to higher altitudes quicker (day three), which kicks off the body’s adaptation to elevation. However, this route demands that an individual be in excellent physical condition to handle the strenuous ascent and descent over significant height changes. The six-day Machame route involves 19–24 hours of rigorous hiking at extreme elevations, with just 4–6 hours for rest or sleep.

5 Days Kilimanjaro Climb Marangu Route

Known as the “Coca-Cola” route, the Marangu route is a classic trek on Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the oldest, most well-established route. Many favor the Marangu route because it is considered to be the easiest path on the mountain, given its gradual slope. It is also the only route which offers sleeping huts in dormitory-style accommodations. The minimum days required for this route is five, although the probability of successfully reaching the top in that time period is quite low. Spending an extra acclimatization day on the mountain is highly recommended when climbing Kilimanjaro using the Marangu route. However, despite its immense popularity, we avoid leading climbs on the Marangu route. The route has the least scenic variety of all the routes because the ascent and descent are done on the same path and it is the most crowded route for that reason. Marangu is favored only during the rainy season, where the hut accommodations are preferred.
