Old Perithia, Corfu's Oldest

One of the island's most unique places to visit on the island. Once a hideaway from pirates, it was all but deserted in the 1960s, reclaimed and protected by nature. Established circa 1350, it fell into decline as tourism began along the coast but since 2010 it has begun a gentle revival which continues today.
