Our travel agency CRETACTIV is a family-run business near Heraklion that specializes in active tourism. Our goal is to introduce visitors to Crete, its people, products, cuisine and history in a sustainable way with a minimal ecological footprint. Therefore we organize gentle, environmentally friendly activities such as hikes, e-bike tours, kayak trips or combinations of these experiences. All our excursions are carried out exclusively by electric bikes which often use electricity generated on site using photovoltaic panels; alternatively they take place by kayaks or walking. As a result, the carbon dioxide emissions resulting from our activities amount almost zero. Vehicles are only used for transporting luggage and guests.
