Skyball is the founder of ballooning in Armenia. Since 2014, we have enabled hundreds of thousands of Armenians and foreigners to discover the majestic beauty of Armenia's stunning mountains and landscapes from the sky, providing them with an unforgettable experience. Skyball is the only officially DECLARED BALLOON OPERATOR in Armenia, authorized by the Civil Aviation Committee to operate commercial hot air balloon passenger flights throughout the entire territory of the Republic of Armenia. Flights are permitted and exclusively controlled by the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia. All our pilots hold international qualifications. Passenger safety is our top priority; therefore, they are insured by a renowned foreign insurance company prior to their participation in the flight. With the aim of boosting tourism and ballooning in Armenia, Skyball organizes annual international balloon festivals in Armenia. These festivals take place under the theme "Discover Armenia From the Sky."

Balloon Ride Skyball

TOUR FLIGHT BY HOT AIR BALLOON IN ARMENIA Group flights are carried out on board a hot air balloon that accommodates between 8–12 passengers. Package inclusions: 1.1 — Transporting you to the launch site and returning you to Yerevan; 1.2 — Participating in preparing the balloon before takeoff; 1.3 — Refreshments served during your journey (sweet treats and sparkling wine); 1.4 — A fascinating post-flight award ceremony where each participant receives an aviation diploma. Duration: approximately 4–5 hours total, with takeoffs scheduled within 1–2 hours after sunrise. The actual flying time ranges around one hour at altitudes reaching up to 1,000 meters above ground level. Each gondola comfortably seats either two, three, four, ten, or twelve people plus our experienced professional pilots. Hot air ballooning tours operate year-round—summer and winter alike! We accommodate temperatures ranging from −20°C (−4°F) to +40°C (+104°F). Please note that delays may occur due to adverse weather conditions such as strong winds exceeding permissible speeds of 5m/s (approximately 11 mph).
