Itinerary: Day 1: From Fes - Midelt - Azrou - Ziz Valley - Merzouga: Today you travel with Merzouga Outdoor and we drive to Todra Gorges, passing through Ifrane to arrive at the cedar forests of Azrou where the wild monkeys are located. We will enjoy lunch in a small Berber village and we continue on to Midelt, taking in the scenery along the way. We then head towards Rich and Erfoud, feeling the beginnings of the Sahara Oasis of Tafilalet. Finally, we reach Merzouga, where we'll mount the camels for an overnight stay under the stars in traditional Berber nomadic tents. Day 2: From Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades - Ouarzazate: After witnessing the sunrise over the dunes, we dismount the camels and make our way back to Merzouga. After having breakfast and freshening up at the hotel, we begin our journey toward Ouarzazate. Along the route, we stop off at various points including visits to local Berber villages, the stunning Todra Gorges, the dramatic Dades Gorges, Rose Valley, and Skoura town. Our arrival in Ouarzazate is scheduled for late afternoon or early evening. Day 3: From Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Tizi -n- Tichka - Marrakech: On this day, we explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco's best preserved kasbahs (fortresses) that has been used as a filming location for numerous films, notably "Gladiator". The trip takes us across the High Atlas Mountain range via the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass, crossing 2,260 meters above sea level while providing breathtaking views of lush green valleys below dotted with charming Berber villages.
