The tour begins early in the morning. Drive to the northern part of the country via fully paved roads to Tower Hill, Orange Walk. Lamanai means "submerged crocodile." Upon arrival, you’ll be transported by boat directly to the site. The Lamanai people were an ancient civilization until the Spanish arrived and conquered them. The tour then returns to Belize City.
