The 4-Day El Inca Jungle Trek is a truly spectacular adventure that takes you to places and experiences beyond the ordinary. It combines mountain biking, rafting, and hiking through our Andean mountains.
DAY 1: CUSCO - ABRA MALAGA - SANTA MARIA (BIKE AND RAFTING)
We will pick you up from your hotel at 06:00 AM in our private transportation and travel for an average of four hours to reach Carrizales or San Luis where we will begin our adventure; along the way, we will pass by "Abra Málaga" which is located at 4,300 meters above sea level. We will descend on bicycles for approximately three hours to Santa Maria where we will have lunch. Along the path, we will see typical cloud forest vegetation appreciating coffee plantations and coca leaves until reaching the town of Santa Maria where we will spend the night in a guest house. DAY 2: SANTA MARIA - HOT SPRINGS - SANTA TERESA After having a rich breakfast, around 6:30 AM approx., we will be ready to do the first day's trek along a recently discovered Incan trail heading towards Santa Teresa. The first two hours of our tour will be uphill; during this time, there will be several stops so that we can learn more about the richness of local flora and fauna. Later, we will cross a section of the Inca Trail that anciently connected the sacred city of the Incas, Machu Picchu, with the city of Vilcabamba here, our guide will explain some additional history of the Incas.
