Founded in 2014 by Dr. Ray Webber, who donated the land for public enjoyment and conservation, the Gardens showcase the beauty of the Florida Aquifer through a network of recycled waterfalls and serene koi-filled pools. This 30-year labor of love demonstrates how industrial sites can be reborn into thriving ecosystems, protected forever alongside the surrounding 64-acre woodlands. As a Certified Wildlife Habitat, the park is teeming with biodiversity, from ancient Southern Live Oaks, some standing for over 700 years, to a vibrant array of wildlife including birds, turtles, fish, bobcats, and more. The grounds also feature strategic bat houses that support hundreds of bats, creating a balanced environment where nature has fully reclaimed its lost space.
