La Jaraba is located on the historical site of the same name, spanning across the towns of Villarrobledo and El Provencio, right at the center of La Mancha. Throughout centuries various civilizations have inhabited this rich land; Iberians, romans who brought viticulture here, visigoths and more recently arabs, each one cultivating their own grape varieties. It has been proven that there are records dating back to the XVIII Century about the production and fame of wines coming from La Jaraba. In the XXI Century a new era began for Bodegas Pago de la Jaraba. In addition to our passion for fine wine we also share an equal love for manchego cheese and extra virgin olive oil which reflects both our respect for tradition and dedication to quality.
