We aim to awaken or keep alive in the memory of the general population this inspiring and unique story in the world. The museum's permanent exhibition consists of 400 m2 on 3 levels with more than 45 informative panels, 35 display cases with original objects and unpublished audio-visual materials. It features works of art inspired by history, created by survivors themselves or other artists sensitized by this tragedy/odyssey. Visitors can undergo the experience of the Andean Conditions Simulator where they will feel temperatures as low as -20° C (-4° F) and wind gusts up to 6 mph (10 kph).

Cuenta con obras de arte inspiradas en la historia, realizadas por los propios sobrevivientes o por otros artistas sensibilizados por esta tragedia / odisea. Los visitantes se pueden someter a la experiencia del Simulador de Condiciones Andinas donde se experimentan temperaturas de hasta -15 °C y ráfagas de viento de hasta 10 km/h.
