The Fort of Schoenenbourg is the largest artillery work on the Maginot Line that can be visited in Alsace. It is located near the charming Alsatian villages of Hunspach and Ingolsheim in northern Alsace. Built between 1931 and 1935, its crew permanently moved in at the end of August 1939.
