Friends of Chevra Thelim

The Chevra T'helim congregation began in 1917. By 1918 members had purchased the property and began building the synagogue. Its simple Colonial Revival style is an architectural gem of simple beauty. Its interior represents a rare surviving example of Eastern European Jewish orthodoxy.
