Fishability Alaska offers private fishing charters and marine wildlife day cruises for all visitors to beautiful Ketchikan, Alaska. We are also Ketchikan’s only universally accessible private charter operation! Take in the scenery and wildlife on a fully customizable cruise along Ketchikan’s rugged coastline, seeking out our humpback whales, orcas, Steller sea lions, harbor seals, porpoises, American bald eagles, and more. Or try your luck at fishing for wild Pacific salmon, rockfish, lingcod, sablefish, and other species, in the pristine waters of Southeast Alaska. No experience necessary—Captain Jack will teach and assist you, every step of the way. All groups are welcome! We built our custom boat right here in Ketchikan with accessibility as a core feature, ensuring no one in your group needs to be left behind. Owner/operator Captain Jack Finnegan has over 13 years of guiding experience on Ketchikan’s waters, plus over ten years working with diverse populations of people with disabilities. He is certified through IBCCES, and Fishability is certified with Autism Double-Checked. Our boat is spacious, measuring 37’ x 12’, significantly larger than most charter boats in Ketchikan, with plenty of deck space to take in the views, and also featuring a fully enclosed cabin for shelter during bad weather. The cabin boasts enormous windows, so even if you must retreat indoors, there’s no shortage of scenic beauty.
