3 Days Tanzania Safari

Day 1: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park After a brief briefing in the morning, you'll travel to Lake Manyara National Park, one of the smallest but most diverse parks in Tanzania. The shallow and alkaline Lake Manyara covers a large area of the park and is the seasonal home to thousands of flamingos—a stunning (pink) sight. However, over 500 other bird species can also be found here, along with some wonderful mammals. Troops of monkeys live in the forests, while giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests roam the grassy plains, and elephants and lions inhabit the acacia woodlands. From the open roof of the vehicle, you'll be able to observe the animals and soak up the landscape. After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch, you'll leave the park to head towards the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro highlands. You'll spend the night at your chosen lodge, camp, or hotel. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Tour After an early start, you'll drive into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is nearly 600 meters deep, about 20 kilometers wide, and this massive caldera is home to an incredible variety of animals. During your game drive, you may encounter all types of mammals, ranging from the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—to Grant's and Thomson's gazelles and mountain reedbucks.
