Our one-day course covers essentials like gear setup, primary paddling strokes, re-entry after capsizing, and introductory hydrology concepts. During our three-day program, we delve further into foundational whitewater kayaking principles while also focusing on effective communication strategies during trips down the river. By committing to three full days, participants typically internalize good practices early on which prove invaluable later. Finally, our comprehensive five-day course allows us to fully immerse ourselves in mastering these elements across various stretches of the river tailored to individual progression rates. It’s here too that students get introduced to crucial self-rescue maneuvers necessary for continued safe participation in the sport.
