Heping Island Geopark

Heping Island Geopark, located 70 meters away from Taiwan, boasts a geological history of 23 million years old, natural seawater pools, and Alabao Bay, which is world famous for its sunrise views. It was also certified by Global Sustainable Tourism (GTS) and received an environmental education certification; making this Asian country’s first site to be awarded with both certificates under international standard ISO 20121, thus pioneering eco-friendly travel experiences.
