Salvation Mountain

Salvation Mountain is a massive, colorful folk art installation in the California desert, near the Salton Sea and Slab City. Built by Leonard Knight over nearly 30 years, this 50-foot-tall and 300-foot-wide structure is made of adobe clay, straw, and half a million gallons of donated paint!
