These tours operate in two high-top transit vans equipped with water and light refreshments. Our guides possess extensive knowledge of the region and can answer your questions throughout the trip as well as at every stop. Pickups take place at Ward Cove thirty minutes before departure or downtown when the tour begins. Our first destination is Rotary Beach where you'll enjoy stunning views along with sightings of smaller marine life such as starfish, tiny crabs, and little fish; it’s recommended that visitors wear comfortable walking shoes due to its pebbly surface. Next we visit herring cove which offers an excellent opportunity to see black bears, eagles, harbor seals, and salmon. Finally, our last stop is the south end waterfall – please note there is a slight incline here measuring approximately five feet tall - but don't worry because the beautiful cascade remains clearly visible even while seated inside one of our vehicles! Please be aware that seeing local fauna cannot be guaranteed by us however generally speaking between mid-June through late September provides optimal conditions for spotting them. In addition, waterproof poncho rentals are also offered on particularly wet days so make sure to ask if needed!
