Skywalk pure and simple – Dortmund Phoenix West
Our minimalist classic at Phoenix West has a lot to offer: Experience sheer pleasure with clear views and an exhilarating high feeling within just 60 minutes! Where are we headed? We start our journey on Phoenix Square with our experienced guide where you'll be equipped with our live audio system, safety vest, and helmet. From here, we make our way up to the skywalk which takes us over 99 steps bringing you to a height of 85 feet (26 meters). The walkway above the gas pipeline leads across almost 325 feet (almost 100 meters) towards one of the blast furnaces that remain standing today in the furnace area of Phoenix West – more than twenty five years after production ceased there. On this tour, enjoy the unique sensation of walking through clouds while having plenty of time to let your gaze wander in all directions discovering new things or seeing old acquaintances from excitingly fresh perspectives!
