Nissim Slama

My name is Nissim and I am a tour guide and a lecturer in Jerusalem, Israel. I grew up in Paris, France in the local Jewish community and after high school I began studying in the faculty of law of La Sorbonne University. But it wasn’t enough and I decided to immigrate to Israel. I served for 5 years in the IDF as an infantry officer, (Now I am a reserve infantry officer with the rank of Major) I got myself a BA in History and International Relations from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and study Political Sciences. Before being a tour guide I worked in NGOs management. Now, in the last few years, I am a licensed tour guide. I studied 2 and a half years to get my license and be able to have the pleasure to guide you in the country and the city I love the most. What I am loving as being a guide is to be this guy who knows a lot about a lot and know how to use his knowledge from completely different fields (History, Archeology, Science, Politics, Law, Sociology, Religions etc.) to build a story that will give you a real understanding of the place.
