Small Group Tour to Sintra Cascais with Pena Palace

Sintra is one of those magical places where man and nature come together in a perfect blend, as if wanting to keep us in a perpetual state of wonder. Experience royal living by entering the Romantic Pena National Palace, a magnificent fairytale palace dating back to the 19th Century (entrance fee included); stand atop the hill enjoying stunning vistas across the Moors' Castle. Enjoy your own leisure time exploring the historic center of Sintra - don’t forget to indulge yourself with local delicacies such as "Travesseiros" and "Queijadas". There may be enough time left to also explore the National Palace should you choose so (entry fees are not included here). Continue driving past the marvels of Nature within the Sintra Mountain Range stopping briefly near Cabo da Roca Cliffs, considered the most westerly land point of mainland Europe, providing excellent opportunities for photography. Gaze out upon powerful ocean swells crashing onto Praia do Guincho, known throughout the year as trendy spot attracting sunbathers and water sports enthusiasts alike including surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing aficionados. Travel alongside the rugged coastline towards Cascais taking in picturesque scenery en route. Upon arrival in Cascais, recognized as Portugal's premier tourist destination since early last century when wealthy families began building their opulent seaside villas there, we allow ample free time either for dining, leisurely strolls beside the marina area or simply relaxing on nearby beaches. We then continue southwards heading toward Lisbon via coastal roads while admiring glimpses of Estoril and its famous casino complex.
