Bugac Stud Farm and Restaurant Karikas Csarda is one of the oldest tourist attractions in Hungary. Tourism began here in the 19th century when people would come to see how Hungarian shepherds lived as they herded their livestock across the vast Hungarian Great Plain. There are unique animals and rare plant species found there. Shepherds follow specific customs that visitors can witness at a shepherd's horse-riding demonstration. Following this performance guests may sample traditional dishes such as goulash made according to old recipes. You also have an opportunity to stay overnight amidst nature’s beauty in genuine rural accommodation with all modern conveniences provided for your comfort. Experience true Hungarian cuisine along with peacefulness characteristic of the Hungarian countryside.
