For a city established in 1436 Chisinau keeps a lot of secrets and has a story to tell; its centre is an intersection, just like Moldavia's own destiny - a crossroads between East and West according to some historians. Every trip through this capitol includes seeing the Statue of Stephen the Great (Stefan Cel Mare) built in 1926. It makes you think about what kind of "Little Prince" would be able to prevent Muslim invasions on European soil. He was our greatest King ever and there isn’t anyone else quite like him around today so naturally I am his biggest fan!
