For one day you’ll be far removed from the crowds, heat, noise and waiting lines. A full immersion in nature with stunning landscapes, kind locals, excellent local produce and fine regional wines await you! The adventure begins at Firenze S.M.N central station where your guide will welcome you personally and assist you buying the discounted group railway tickets towards San Miniato; by high speed train this journey takes about 45 min.. Once arrived here, after checking in at our agritourism accommodation called “Agriturismo La Tenuta di Chiudendone”, there will be an introductory tour through the property allowing everyone to admire vineyards and olive groves surrounding us. Then we go picking up some seasonal vegetables directly from the garden that are going to become part of our next meal prepared collectively later during the afternoon. Hereby discovering what makes typical tuscan cooking easy, genuine and tasty… depending on seasons maybe grape harvesting, olive plucking, foraging for wild asparagus, aromatic plants or hunting precious Alba Truffles in Autumn could also happen!!
